Your first visit will be about an hour long, which we will take:

• A physical exam of your spine, muscles and nerve system

• Scans of your spine with state of the art technology

• A thorough health history

• Structural chiropractic x-rays if necessary

Afterwards the doctors will review your results at your next appointment with a comprehensive plan to get your health back!

If you need to cancel your appointment please call us at (604) 398-5557 or e-mail us at info@adaptspine.com at least 24 hours in advance. If you are calling / e-mailing after hours please leave us a message.

Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation, any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice (or no-shows) will result in a missed appointment fee.

The Gonstead System is based on a structural engineer’s perspective, focused on using specific tools and methods to analyze, locate and correct the misalignments in your spine. These misalignments can cause shifts in the structure and impact the discs, ligaments and nerves leading to the aches and dysfunction you are feeling.

We would never recommend anything for you that we wouldn’t recommend for our family, friends and ourselves. The team at Adapt Spine has been under consistent Gonstead chiropractic care for years. Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. One way you can gauge the safety of a health profession is by how much they pay for malpractice insurance. Chiropractic care has one of the lowest malpractice premiums of any healthcare profession.

Here at Adapt Spine Centre, we are hyper-focused on making sure your spinal bones are functioning well, moving freely and allowing the nervous system to work un-interrupted.

After a thorough examination, our doctor’s may provide Gonstead Chiropractic adjustments to the spine and extremities, prescribe corrective stretching and exercises as well as lifestyle changes to promote your spinal wellness.

When your chiropractor performs an adjustment, the joint space opens minutely, releasing tiny pockets of air surrounding the joint. That is the sound that is heard. It is completely normal and will cause no harm to you! If you still have questions, feel free to ask our doctors.

Some patients experience instant relief. Others may feel results in weeks - especially those with chronic conditions. While every patient heals differently, there are also factors contributing to the rate of healing including sleep, diet, exercise and maintaining regular spinal checkups.

After achieving the results they desire, many patients choose to continue with chiropractic care for regular spinal checkups. Much like regular dental checkups that can detect problems before they are even felt by the patient, regular spinal checks can do the same. We will always work with you to determine what is the best course of care!

We are covered under most extended health benefits, however we do not bill directly to your extended health care plan, however are more than happy to provide any invoices to make it easier for you to self-submit.

Only patients that qualify for supplementary benefits can qualify for reimbursement for chiropractic care under MSP. For more information please see MSP Supplementary benefits eligibility

At this time, we are unable to direct bill MSP and are opted out of MSP. This means that the patient would be fully responsible for payments for treatment, and be reimbursed directly by MSP.

We would provide receipts for you to be able to self submit to MSP for direct reimbursement for the MSP portion. For more information on how much is reimbursed, please visit MSP Payment Schedule for more information.

Please print and fill out the MSP Reimbursement Form HLTH 2944 form and mail your claim within 90 days of treatment.
